Medical libraries, literacy organizations, and other library organizations from Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont will gather at this year's conference themed, Imagine! Innovate! Inspire!As always, NAHSL is excited to invite vendors to exhibit during this year's annual conference at the Omni Hotel in New Haven, Connecticut. Exhibit day is scheduled for Monday, October 24th, from 7 am to 3 pm. Breakfast will be served in the exhibit area providing you with optimum customer access. The exhibitor fee for the 2016 conference is $650, which covers registration for one representative. Also included is a skirted table with two chairs, signage, wifi, electricity, as well as breakfast and lunch on Monday. The cost for each additional representative is $100. If they wish, exhibitors may also purchase tickets to the opening reception on Sunday evening, Monday evening's cocktail hour and Monday evening's banquet. Prices for these events are listed below:
Exhibitors are invited to schedule a lightning round slot to highlight new products and/or services. This program is scheduled for Monday from 7:45 am to 8:30 am. Presentation time is limited to five minutes. There is no additional fee for lightning rounds and they will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis.
Shipping & Receiving
Shipping Packages to the hotel: For exhibitors who wish to ship materials such as displays or equipment to the hotel ahead of time, special arrangements must be made in advance with the Omni. Failure to do so may result in deliveries that are refused. The Omni reserves the right to refuse any packages that appear damaged. The Omni New Haven Hotel will also not assume any liability for the condition of the contents of any package.
Due to limited storage space, shipments should not arrive earlier than October 19, 2016. A storage fee of $10 per box, per day will apply for any boxes received under the following circumstances:
Prior to 3 days of your first event
Boxes weighing more than 50 lbs.
Each box exceeding 20 boxes.

If you are sending more than one box, boxes must be marked "1 of 5," "2 0f 5," etc. The Omni prefers that you know exactly how many packages you are sending and the tracking number for each. Without this information, they cannot assist you if a package is lost in transit.
Shipping Packages from the Hotel: In order to ship your packages from the hotel, you must box, seal and label your own packages. The hotel is not responsible for boxing, sealing or labelling your packages. Any materials that are improperly boxed, sealed or labeled will not be shipped and will be held for 30 days in Lost & Found.
Shipping & Receiving Costs: The following fees will be charged for all incoming and outgoing packages:
21-50 lbs: $15.00 per box
Over 50 lbs: $25.00 per box
Crates: $50.00 each
Pallets: $75.00 each
Liability: The hotel will not accept any liability for equipment, goods, displays which arrive or fail to arrive at the hotel. The sender is responsible for insuring its property for loss or damage.
Handling: The hotel does not provide any carts or moving equipment.
